We believe that when we study out the scriptures, God speaks to us about how to better love Him and each other. Our Bible study small groups are a welcoming, safe place to meet new people and learn about Jesus through the studying of scriptures.
A group of young men who realize our desperate need for accountability, submission to the Word of God, growth, outreach, and edification. We spend time praying together, sharing convictions together, and of course getting into the book together. We aim to reach Kansas City by example, inviting others to take part in letting God conform us to His image, in a group of brothers.
Our nights start off with coffee, tea, and snacks. Next we share praises and prayer requests and pray together, and then we get to studying. We go through the passage together, asking questions and talking about what God is teaching us from it.
International Students (FOI)
We are currently going through Paul's letters to the churches in the the New Testament. We meet every week in a home close to the UMKC Campus, share a meal and study God's word together. On one week we meet in a large co-ed group and break out into smaller groups for deeper study and prayer and on the next week we meet in a girls-only group and discuss a passage from the bible together.
Friends of Internationals (FOI) is a Christian volunteer community that embraces relationships with all nationalities, religions and races. We believe relationships should be based on mutual respect, openness, kindness, honesty and fun which enable deep loving friendships to flourish.
As an enthusiastic and passionate community, we hope to make a difference by building friendships with all international students and residents in our area.
