For years, Lisa Cheadle has been writing spiritual songs in the context of the local church. In this collection of both original songs and new renditions of hymns, Lisa looks back at what God has done and forward into the future—holding fast to the promises of His Word in the midst of uncertain times.
Lisa and her husband Myles have recently moved their family to Nairobi, Kenya to church plant. These songs were the songs she held in her heart before the Lord as they prepared to start a new life serving in a new place.
New Album from Temple Worship
This self-titled album is the fourth studio album from Temple Worship, more highly produced than any of the previous work. A truly collaborative effort, this album pulsates between desperation, joy and anticipation in Christ. These songs are exceptionally vulnerable but also reflect a surety that can only come with having trust in God’s promises.
Temple Worship is the worship band of the Midtown Baptist Temple young adults ministry. A band formed with a heart to respond and obey the Spirit’s leading. We believe God has joined us together as a “temple” comprised of his people and we are to offer our worship to Him. The Lord deserves to be praised with a new song, and Temple Worship seeks to invite all who listen to join us in the worship of Jesus Christ.
