What do we do when our worst failure seems to define us? In John 21, Peter comes face-to-face with the Christ he denied—and discovers that grace doesn’t merely forgive his past; it restores his purpose. Jesus calls Peter out of shame, back into the mission, and ultimately toward a path of discipleship that will cost him everything. In this message, we’ll see how our love for Christ produces a love for others, why following Jesus requires us to embrace our own calling rather than compare it with someone else’s, and how a man who once denied Christ to save his life would eventually give his life to glorify God. Peter’s story reminds us that our failures do not have to determine how we finish—grace gives us a future, and the call remains the same: “Follow me.”
